MATHIASKARLSSON.

How would you think if you knew what is already possible?

I work with AI in practice and explore what it changes for companies and people. On stage and in the leadership room I make what is happening understandable, challenge old truths and open up new ways of thinking.

I have spent twenty years understanding technology and what people can do with it. It taught me to question what we take for granted.

What happens to your business when what used to be impossible becomes easy — and you keep making decisions the way you always have?

I have worked the support desk, sold the systems, set the strategy and built the solutions. Today I am co-founder of Mindact.

That experience means I see the technology from several sides at once: what it can do, how it actually gets used, and what it means for the people who have to decide.

To me, mindset is about noticing when our own assumptions have quietly become a limitation. We can be so busy improving what we already do that we miss the chance to do something else entirely. That is where I want the conversation to start.

WHAT I SEE HAPPENING

We change the technology.
Then it changes the conditions.

  1. 01The pace

A strategy can be well thought through and still rest on possibilities that have already changed. The ability to learn and reconsider becomes part of what makes a company competitive.

  2. 02The work

If a task that took two days can be done in ten minutes, more changes than the time it takes. What do we charge for? Which skills matter now? And what do we use the freed-up time for?

  3. 03The agents

When AI is given a mandate to carry out tasks for us, the division of labour becomes a leadership question. What do we delegate, which decisions need a human, and who is accountable when something goes wrong?

  4. 04The systems

We are used to adapting the business to the systems we buy. When building our own becomes straightforward, we have to reconsider what we buy ready-made, what we build ourselves, and what we need at all.

  5. 05Control

An answer can sound convincing and still be wrong. The more decisions we hand to AI, the more our ability to judge the result matters. Delegating a task does not delegate the responsibility.

  6. 06Mindset

You can become more efficient and less relevant at the same time. If we use AI to do today's work faster, we also have to ask whether it is the same work customers will need tomorrow.

You do not need to know exactly how the future turns out.

But you do need to notice when your decisions rest on a reality that has changed.

WHY I AM UP THERE

The more you understand,
the more you can change.

I would like to gather a whole city in one room. The business owners, the teachers, healthcare and the people who make the decisions. Because what is happening with AI raises questions that concern all of us: what we need to learn, how we are going to work, and what we want to use the possibilities for.

That is why I am on stage. I want to make the shift understandable enough that more people can take part in the conversation and influence where it goes. Anyone who leads other people also has to be able to give them something to go on.

My ambition is that people leave with more curiosity, better questions and the nerve to try something they had written off.

02 / ON STAGEFrom the stage. To reality.

It should land.
And stay with you.

For the leadership team that needs to think ahead. For the customer event that should raise new questions.
For the kickoff that should get people seeing possibilities together.

What happens to the value of our work when something that took months can be done in an afternoon?

You have decisions to make about AI. The suppliers have answers. But how do you know they are answering the right questions? When more becomes possible you need to be able to judge what is worth doing, what to pay for and what you actually need.

In “The Hard Part Has Moved” I show how AI changes what it takes to build, buy and develop a business. With concrete examples and humour I look hard at old truths about time, price and competence.

You get new perspectives on what you buy, what you can achieve yourselves and where your own knowledge makes the biggest difference. That gives you common ground for the conversation about what to do next.

HOW WE CAN WORK TOGETHER

Four ways to
work together.

01

Talk

45 minutes

For the conference, customer event or kickoff where you want to spark curiosity and get people thinking bigger. I make AI and what it leads to understandable, with concrete examples, humour and perspectives that challenge the familiar. The content is adapted to your audience.

02

Panel and stage conversation

Participant or moderator

I bring technical knowledge, a view of what is coming and questions that take the conversation further. What does this mean in practice? Which assumptions need testing? As a panellist or a moderator I make complex questions accessible and make room for different perspectives.

03

Workshop

Half a day or a full day

What do the possibilities mean for you specifically? We work with your challenges, test familiar assumptions and explore how AI can change the work. Together we identify what is worth trying and which steps you need to take to move on.

04

Advisory and implementation

Through Mindact

For you who have to decide about AI and need to be able to judge the advice you are given. I help you test proposals, ask suppliers better questions and prioritise what is worth doing in your business. Together with my team at Mindact we can also go further with training, strategy and building solutions.

I build in order to understand what is possible and what actually works. My own products and experiments give me experience to bring into talks, conversations and advisory work.
